Circle is ON today!

1–2 minutes

Hi everybody! Circle is on today February 23rd at Cherrydale Library from 2 to 4 PM despite the snow. ❄️ The library opens at noon, so we’ll see you there at two.

We will be learning spiral mending, a.k.a. honeycomb – a flexible patch made from a spiral blanket stitch. Since it is one of the few flexible patches, this type of men works great on heels of socks, elbows of sweaters, as well as non-stretchy areas.

Bring socks with thinning heels or knits with thinning or smaller holes. You can also practice on small holes in woven fabrics.

Please remember that we will have no Circle next Monday on March 2. Both the librarian Charlotte and I have conflicts those days.

Our next circle will be March 9. Keep your eyes open for the topics in the next post.

Hope to see you soon!
