Contribute supplies

Your in-kind contributions enable us to offer programming that is free to participants. We welcome the following mending supplies and upcycled items:

  • Small lidded tins like the ones for Altoid mints to make mini mending kits
  • Embroidery floss or sashiko thread
  • Sashiko and other needles with a large eye
  • Darning tools
  • Temporary fabric marking pens
  • Water-soluble transfer sheets like Sulky Stick ‘n Stitch

If you have other hand-sewing supplies, get in touch with us and we can let you know if we could use them. We accept in-kind contributions at our circles. Thank you!

Pay it forward

To remove barriers and be inclusive, all of our programs are free to participants. So your donation helps us cover our costs for sewing supplies and overhead costs like the website. Any amount is appreciated – even $5 or $10 adds up and allows us to provide programming for communities with no funding.

NOTE: Art on the Mend is currently an LLC and we are working on establishing ourselves as a nonprofit. So currently, contributions are NOT tax-deductible.
