Hello! I am a DC- and Virginia-raised artist working to create a culture of creativity, repair, & inclusion thru visible mending circles. I started Art on the Mend in June 2025 to create community with hopeful people who believe in the power of mending and sharing stories to bring us together.
Art on the Mend has grown into a vibrant, community-driven organization that partners with libraries, museums, universities, and other hosting organizations to bring hands-on mending programs directly to the public.
Powered by skilled “Mend-tors,” upcycled textiles, and donated materials, Art on the Mend invites participants to rediscover the value of renewing our things and ourselves by mending and connecting in community.
