Hello! If you have been meaning to learn visible mending and haven’t had a chance to come to one of our programs, tonight may be your lucky day.
I am volunteering as a textile coach at a community repair event hosted by Fix-It DC,, tonight at MLK Jr library at 901 G St NW, Washington DC.
You can reserve a spot and bring a piece of clothing that is damaged or stained, and I or another textile coach will teach you how to mend it.
Veteran menders including Art on the Mend Mend-tors are welcome to volunteer too.
