On Tuesday, November 3, we have Open Lab where you can bring anything and we will help you get started on your visible mend. Meet at the loft of Cherrydale Library from 2-4 PM.
On Wednesday, November 4, you are invited to a work party from 5:30 to 7:30 PM in the lower level of Cherrydale Library. We will be cutting denim to upcycle for our programs, making sashiko palm thimbles, and assembling mini mending kits (like the one above) for our programs including one upcoming for Mentors in Inova’s Survivors Offering Support program, which provides mentorship for people in treatment for breast or gynecological cancer.
Lastly, there is another Textile 101 Pop Up at the Textile Museum this Saturday. It is free and on Spinning (fibers, not bicycles!).
