💗 Make a Thimble, Make a Difference: Join Us This Week

October is Breast Cancer Awareness month and we are getting ready!

This week, we will be making sashiko palm thimbles on Tuesday 2-4 PM at Cherrydale Library.

Then, on Wednesday 5:30-7:30 PM, we’ll be having a work party where we will be making thimbles and mending kits for an upcoming program for breast cancer survivors. No skills required. All ages welcome – with a parent if under 12. We will have something for everyone to get involved.

This program benefits breast cancer survivors who mentor breast cancer patients at Inova Schar Cancer Center’s Survivors Offering Support programs.
